Ruth is the joint Managing Director of Battrick Clark, with over 10 years’ experience in Property Law.

Ruth joined Battrick Clark in 2012 as a paralegal after completing her degree and Legal Practice Course. Ruth went on to train as a solicitor at Battrick Clark, qualifying in 2014. Ruth obtained directorship in 2015 and now heads up our conveyancing department.

Ruth has a diverse knowledge of Property Law and specialises in buying and selling both freehold and leasehold properties, right to buy (council house purchases), auction sales and purchases, help to buy schemes, lifetime ISAs, transfer of part, remortgage, equity release, transfer of equity, new builds, lease extensions and declarations of trust.

During her career, Ruth has developed strong relationships with many mortgage advisors, estate agents and financial advisers, which assists in making her transactions run as smoothly as possible. Ruth is well known with her clients to work to tough timescales and takes a pragmatic approach to complicated transactions.

In her personal life, Ruth enjoys travelling and exploring the world, whether this entails walking her dog or flying somewhere for the weekend.
